Challenges of Working for the Census

By admin on February 25, 2010

The New York Times published an interesting article on some of the challenges the Census Bureau faces in making sure that every resident gets counted. This is quite a task in New York City and I would imagine it can be a tough place to be an enumerator, especially if you have to walk up several flights of stairs! At any rate, it is a nice overview of how the Bureau operates. Might give you an idea if this job is really for you!

Also, I just wanted to mention that there are definitely areas that are doing testing throughout the month of March, so if you still haven’t scheduled a date to take the census test, it probably isn’t too late!
