The Supervisor’s Test has 29 questions, and you have one hour to answer them. In some ways it is more difficult than the Census Taker’s test, the questions are generally longer and wordier with complex sentence structure, and many of the questions are more along the lines of managerial questions. The test is supposed to determine whether you would be suitable for a supervisory position, thus in order to answer the questions you will need to do so from a ‘supervisory’ standpoint, in order to get higher scores.
If you have already worked in a supervisory position previously, then you will likely have no problem with the questions. If you have never worked as a supervisor before though, you might want to check with some guide books on Human Resources and/or Supervisors Jobs before you take the test, just so you have an idea of what you might expect.
I cannot tell you how helpful this hub is since I am taking both the field and supervisor test tomorrow. I have not worked since April of last year and I was starting to lose my confidence in my analytical skills. I also found it helpful to go back to basics and review basic math rules for multiplying, subtracting, and dividing decimals, fractions, etc since I have become totally calculator dependent in my career. Thanks so much.
